Submit Supporting Documentation

Required supporting documentation will be accepted in the board office independent of the application. Official transcripts must be received directly from your college of optometry.

Note: All documentation must be official and sent directly from issuing institutions.

N.B.E.O. Examination Results

It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure the results of Parts I, II, and III are received by the board. The N.B.E.O. will forward scores to the North Dakota Board electronically by your request.

State Law Examination

The North Dakota State Law Examination is based on Chapter 43-13 of the North Dakota Century Code and ND Optometric Administrative Rules. It is administered by the N.B.E.O. only after the rest of the application is complete.
